Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This notice describes the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), and how to exercise them. Residents of other states with comparable laws (Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Maryland, Texas, Oregon, Montana, etc.) may exercise the same rights under their state's law via the same process described below.
ooddle's standing position
ooddle does not sell your personal information for money. ooddle does not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run ads. We do not have an ad-tech stack. The categories of recipients we share data with are disclosed in our Privacy Policy and are limited to the service providers reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, ooddle treats it as a valid opt-out request and our practices are already aligned with that request.
Your rights at a glance
- Right to know. Confirm whether ooddle is processing your personal information and request a copy of what we hold about you.
- Right to delete. Request that we delete your personal information.
- Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. ooddle does not sell or share in any case, but the right exists.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Direct us to limit the use of any sensitive personal information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
- Right to non-discrimination. ooddle will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
- Right to appeal. If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal it.
How to make a request
You can exercise these rights in either of two ways:
- In-app. Account deletion under Settings → Profile; email cadence preferences under Settings → Email; subscription changes under Settings → Subscription.
- By email. Send a request to support@ooddle.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will respond within 45 days; if we need longer (up to a further 45 days) we will notify you with a reason.
We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request. For most requests this means matching the email address on the request to the email address on your account. For deletion requests we may also send a confirmation email.
Authorized agents
You can designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly with us before acting on the request.
"Shine the Light" (California Civil Code §1798.83)
ooddle does not disclose personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. As a result, no separate "Shine the Light" disclosure is required.
